All
hotel bedrooms have a balcony, bathroom with shower,
hairdryer, telephone and all rooms are secured with safety chains, safety eye
and fire alarm. Al rooms have a minibar and satellite television. Views are
different, some overlooking the Damascus International Fair, others across the
business area of the city and some overlook Kassioun Mountain.
Standard - with either double or twin beds.
Superior - facilities as Standard plus safety-deposit box, with either double or twin beds.
Deluxe - facilities as Standard, plus three telephones, television, minibar, safety-deposit box, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers.
Royal Club - with special facilities for Royal Club guests including private reception and secretarial service, personalised gift, fruit basket and mineral water, canapés or cookies, special amenities in the bathroom, complimentary breakfast offered in the lounge or other outlets from 7.30 am to 10.30 am. Also complimentary express ironing service for one suit, complimentary tea, coffee, juice and soft drinks all day, open bar daily from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, free photocopying service, meeting room for small, short meetings.
Royal Club Suites - these are Junior Suites with a king-size bed and facilities as Club President.
Deluxe Suite - facilities as Standard, with one bedroom and salon.
Junior Standard Suite - facilities as Standard, but with two televisions, small salon and big bathroom.
Diplomatic Suite - with two bedrooms, one large bed and one twin connected by a big sitting room. Other facilities as Standard.
Junior Superior Suite - one large bedroom and salon, two televisions, three telephones, safety-deposit box and a minibar.
Presidential Suite - luxury suite renovated two years ago, with two televisions, jacuzzi with remote control, large salon with expansive table for meetings, kitchen with separate door, two bathrooms with two connected rooms (separate charge), sauna and two telephone lines. The ceiling is of handcrafted in oriental style and the salon flooring is marble. The suite also incorporates a minibar, safety-deposit box, separate entrance for bedroom and salon. An open bar is offered daily with a big fruit basket as well as oriental and French patisserie.
Le Méridien Damascus features seven meeting and conference rooms seating from 20 to 1,100 guests in a variety of arrangements – theatre, classroom, reception, u-shape, or banquet. Host a quiet evening dinner on the pool terrace overlooking the moonlit outdoor swimming pool.
